The B-52 SPF-18A and SPF-1818A are designed for large permanent
installations. They combine the advantage of a long throw folded horn with the power and reliability of B-52's digital amplification. A 24 dB / octave electronic crossover, compressor and hard limiter are built into the amplifier allowing these subwoofers to easily patch into an existing system with just a pair of XLR cables. These cabinets are constructed of 13-ply Baltic birch, scratch-resistant paint and can easily withstand the abuse of the road. The new B-52 18-200X subwoofer provides a real increase in the system’s power handling and efficiency.
